In 1995 1st Galaxy Fireworks was created and we opened our first specialist firework store on Valley Road in Nottingham. The family had already been providing Professional Firework Displays since 1985 but had no formal Trading name. In July 1995 1st Galaxy was formally launched and from that tiny shop in Nottingham we have grown into one of the leading; all round firework and pyrotechnic specialists in the UK; and Nottingham's premier Professional Display Company.
1st Galaxy Fireworks now import and distribute an exclusive range of Fireworks under the Brand Name "Britannia Fireworks" which is our own brand product, we also distribute other exceptional Brands such as Vulcan and Jorge from both Europe and China.
From day one our message to the consumer was "display fireworks for the public", in other words we supplied larger more professional type fireworks for the more discerning customer. And although our advertising slogans have evolved over the years; the principal we grew up with still applies. We are a specialist that supplies high quality fireworks for everyone, we are true professionals in the business for the love of fireworks and from that love comes a drive to ensure we are always supplying the best.
